Blitz the competition in Battle of Omni!

Omnimon has been a staple card in the Digimon TCG so far, so it was inevitable that we would eventually get a whole set around the Digimon in Battle of Omni! With great support for every colour, and a load of new versatile White cards, this set is full of everything a Digimon TCG player needs to build their best deck! So, let’s take a look at some of the top cards in this box!
First up, the Secret Rares! We have Omnimon X Anti-Body, an Omnimon that not only packs a punch with 15000 DP, can delete practically any other Digimon on the field when attacking, and can end your opponent’s attacks too! Then there’s Omnimon Zwart Defeat, a Black/Purple focused Omnimon that can be played from your Security Pile for free, deletes one of your opponent’s Tamers on digivolution, and on it’s deletion can delete something else!
Looking at some of the other Super Rares, we have Armageddemon, a White/Black Unidentified Digimon with 15000 DP. You can play this card for a measly 3 memory if you delete a Diaboromon you have on the field and negates all of the ‘When Digivolving’ effects of level 7 Digimon! Looking at some Purple in Battle of Omni, we’ve got ChaosGallantmon, who can delete Digimon from both sides of the field!
A new mechanic in this set is Blitz, a ‘When Digivolving’ keyword that allows that Digimon to attack when the opponent has 1 or more memory! Shoutmon DX is an example of a new digivolution option - digivolving into a Digimon of the same level! We also have new White Tamer cards and new Duo Tamer Cards, like Tai Kamiya & Matt Ishida! This Tamer card gives you even more reason to play Omnimon (like we needed more reasons!) and we’ve got some new ‘Start of Turn’ abilities too!
