We return to Yu-Gi-Oh! with a new Core Booster set in Dimension Force! With Booster Packs and Boxes available, this release brings with it two new archetypes in Therion and Scareclaw, as well as a variety of support for numerous other monsters like Libromancer, Dinomorphia, Noh-P.U.N.K., and more! So, what can you look forward to in Dimension Force? Let's take a look at some of the cards!
First up, we have the new Therion archetype! They revolve around summoning high-level monsters from the hand by equipping the same type monster from the GY. Making them incredibly easy to summon! Therion "King" Regulus is a prime example of this, being a pretty powerful monster itself with 2800 ATK, and has a brilliant effect that allows you to negate cards and effects! Therion's look to be a really good archetype, so if you're looking to make the next meta deck, Therion could be an amazing shout! The other new archetype in this set are the Scareclaw! These Beast and Beast-Warrior monsters look to summon their big boss monster, Scareclaw Tri-Heart, while also forcing monsters on the field into Defense Position. Tri-Heart is a Link monster that is unaffected by the activated effects of Defense Position monsters, lets you summon Level 3 Scareclaw monsters from your GY and search them to your hand too! All in all, pretty nice!
Other bits of support in this set include Alba-Lenatus the Abyss Dragon for the Albaz archetype. This monster can attack monsters up to the number of Fusion material used to make it, letting you blow your opponent's field wide open! Exosisters Magnifica is another support card in Dimension Force, giving Exosister another Xyz monster! This one lets you banish a card from the field by detaching a material, and switch out Magnifica for another Xyz monster when your opponent activates a card or effect!
There's more cards to talk about, like Libromancer Fire, a monster that can special summon itself by revealing a Ritual monster from hand, and lets you search another Libromancer! Weather Painters also get another card in The Weather Painter Moonbow, a Link monster that lets you special summon back your banished Weather Painters and can banish your opponent's monsters until the Standby Phase of their next turn! Dinomorphia also get an influx of new cards, like Dinormphia Rexterm, a Fusion monster that makes your opponent unable to activate effects of monsters that have higher or equal to ATK than you LP. Playing well in to the risky Dinomorphia strategy!
There is a lot of varied support and cards in this set, on top of this there are new monsters for Predaplant, Starving Venom, Red-Eyes, Heroic Champion, and much more! Oh, and a Collector's Rare Ghost Belle & Haunted Mansion! To get your hands on this latest set, pre-order a Booster Box of Dimension Force today!
