A Grand Creation Emerges!
Written by Jonnii Small - Jan 25 2022
It's the first Yu-Gi-Oh! release of the new year and we're starting out with a banger! Filled to the brim with new cards, new archetypes and beautiful artwork (as Yu-Gi-Oh! always does!), The Grand Creators will take your card gaming world by storm! So, let's take a look at some of the cards to look out for!
We start out with a couple of the hottest cards to look out for that are also available in the fancy Collector's Rare! Rite of Aramesir is a core part of the 'Adventurer Token' archetype that debuts in this set - well, sort of! The 'Adventurer Token' cards in The Grand Creators have links with other 'equip-based' families like Noble Knights and Starlit Papillon (both of which also have seperate bits of support in this set). Rite of Aramesir lets you play an 'Adventurer Token' if you don't have one out on the field, and also let's you play a Fateful Adventure out from your deck if you don't have one out - this gets you all of the bits you need to play your whole 'Adventurer Token' line-up of monsters, equip spells and more! Water Enchantress of the Temple is a Level 3 that can be special summoned if you have an 'Adventurer Token', and can search all of the most important things for the archetype too! This card is a must and bound to be pretty popular!
But we've also got two brand new archetypes here! The Exosister archetype that seeks to mess about with your opponent's GY, hopefully stopping them from making any plays that revolve around their Graveyard too! The Exosister monsters are definitely one to keep an eye out for when they receive the rest of their support! Also, in The Grand Creators, we had the P.U.N.K. archetype that's based around various genre's of Japanese art. Much of the archetype centres on the Level 3 EARTH Psychic Tuner's for each series and getting out the Ukiyoe-P.U.N.K. Amazing Dragon! Emergency Teleport also gets a reprint here, which is just perfect for the P.U.N.K.'s too!
Inzektors are here too! Not only do we have a load of reprints for things like Hornet, Dragonfly and Picofalena, but also the winner of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Create-a-card project in Zektrike Kou-ou - a spell card that lets you special summon an Inzektor monster from the Deck, or search and play an Inzektor Equip spell from the Deck! This sounds like pretty great support for Inzektors! Another fantastic reprint is the old faithful Solemn Strike! This card is pretty high on the list of traps you'll want to include in your deck, using your life points as a resource to negate a monster special summon or monster effect!
If you're looking to make decks for any of these archetypes, this is the ideal booster set for you! So, why not head on over to the product page and pre-order your box of The Grand Creators now!
