Get a Royal Straight in Battles of Legend: Crystal Revenge!

Another new Yu-Gi-Oh! set? Already?! Yes, we have Battles of Legend: Crystal Revenge set to release this week and it is filled with a load of fantastic reprints and new cards that we've all been looking forward to for a while. Let's get into some of the fun, new cards available in this set! Make sure to pre-order yours if you haven't already!

It wasn't long ago that we had Yu-Gi-Oh! King's Court where the 'Three Musketeers of Face Cards' archetype had a few bits of support, but now there's more, namely in Royal Straight Slasher. This has to be summoned with the Quick-Play Spell Royal Straight, requiring you to have Queen's Knight, King's Knight, and Jack's Knight in your hand or on the field. However, then you can send 5 monsters from your hand or deck to the GY to destroy all cards your opponent controls, once Royal Straight Slasher hits the field! Pretty neat! A new archetype in this release are the adorable Doodle Beasts. Currently there are only three cards in it, but they do seem to have some synergy with Dinosaurs! We also have the G Golem archetype first available in Crystal Revenge (they did have the G Golem token in Magnificent Mavens too, I guess!) who quickly work to get their bigger Link monsters onto the field and use their G Golem heart to give their monsters more ATK, the ability to attack twice per turn, and pierce into the opponent's LP.

Of course, we have the cover cards for this set, the Advanced Crystal Beasts, making their debut in the TCG. These are darker version of the traditional Crystal Beasts, eventually seeking to form their boss monster, Rainbow Dark Dragon. They also heavily rely on the field spell, Advanced Dark. This is definitely one for the fans of the anime though! We have a fair few reprints in Battles of Legend: Crystal Revenge, not limited to the wonderful Accesscode Talker! Accesscode allows you to destroy a card your opponent controls, but your opponent can't activate anything in response to it! It can also get pretty high when it comes to ATK too. And finally we have Blackwing Armor Master, a card that hasn't been printed for over 8 years! This Blackwing gives out Wedge counters to make your opponent's monsters ATK and DEF 0 until the end of the turn.
