Ghosts from the Past: The 2nd Haunting brings us even more Ghost Rares of fan favourites, new anime inspired cards, and reprints from much loved archetypes! From Crystal Beasts to Vision HERO, Ghostrick to Fossil, D/D/D to Vampires, there's a lot to enjoy in this 183 card Collector's Set! We start off with the main attraction, the Ghost Rares! It's now twice as easy to pull these beautiful cards that shimmer in the light! The Ghost Rares that you can find in this set include the ever-loved Dark Magician Girl, the powerful Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Cyber Dragon, Red-Eyes Black Dragon, Dark Armed Dragon, Red Dragon Archfiend, Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, The Winged Dragon of Ra - Sphere Mode and The Eye of Timaeus! These stunning foil cards are the top pulls in this set and perfect for the Yu-Gi-Oh! card collector!
But on top of the Ghost Rares available in this set, we also have a wide variety of meta support here too! Mainly, Aluber the Jester of Despia! An integral cog in Despia decks around the world, Aluber searches for your Branded cards, negates monster effects, and special summons itself to the field! It does it all! If you're looking to play one of the top decks in this format, three of this DARK Fairy monster are absolutely required! Another great reprint in this set is Crystron Halqifibrax. While less seen now than it initially was, it's a fantastic and cheaper reprint to help Synchro-based players get out their Tuner and Tuner Synchro monsters.
There is a lot of support for some under appreciated archetypes in this set too! We have a bunch of Ghostrick monsters reappearing in this ghostly set, like Dullahan, Socuteboss, and Mary. This makes it easier than ever to pick up and build a Ghostrick deck! There are reprints here from the Legendary Dragon Decks that came out in 2017 including Dark Magician the Dragon Knight and Chimeratech Megafleet Dragon. And even older Fusion monsters such as Rare Fish and Sanwitch!
Overall, this set has a mix of nostalgia and support for recent archetypes, but all in a shiny coat of Ultra Rare or Ghost Rare! Whether you're a collector looking to pull the ghostly Dark Magician Girl, or a player searching desperately for the Aluber Jester of Despia, this special set is a fantastic release to pick up!
