Monsters from the Hidden Arsenal return!

If you loved the Hidden Arsenal sets, or never experienced them when they originally came out, get excited for Hidden Arsenal: Chapter 1! This latest Yu-Gi-Oh! release has reprints of cards from Hidden Arsenal 1, 2, 3, and 4 - from fan favourite card archetypes like Ice Barrier and Ally of Justice, to Flamvell, Naturia, and more! These boxes come equipped with a special collectible dice and a secret rare variant card! So, let's get into what we can find in Hidden Arsenal: Chapter 1!
The beautiful thing that returns in this release are the Duel Terminal Parallel Rares, covering the card with reflective shapes to fully show off your most powerful cards! While many cards in this set are foiled with this effect, standouts include the always popular Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Dark Magician, Red-Eyes Black Dragon, and Elemental HERO Neos! Of course, these cards have been seen in many various sets, but it's always nice to get a new pretty rarity of them! The Secret Rare variant cards that come in each box are incredibly nice too, with these containing new cards in Dragunity Guisarme, Deep Sea Repetiteur, Pile Armed Dragon and Armed Dragon, the Armored Dragon! These cards provide additional support to their archetypes and work well alongside other reprints in this set.
Hidden Arsenal gave us the birth of many standout archetypes today, including the Ice Barriers that recently received a very nice Structure Deck in Freezing Chains! This set's abundance of support has all of the additional Ice Barrier bits you'll need, especially the legendary Trishula! This card, upon summon, banishes 1 card from your opponent's hand, field and GY! Another Ice Barrier mainstay in this release is Brionac, another popular Ice Barrier dragon! Mist Valley Apex Avian has seen some play recently, and gets a neat reprint here and with its Quick Effect negation, it can definitely still see play in some meta decks! With Floowandereeze being so popular since their release, perhaps there's some overlap there!
We have some other staple reprints in Mystical Space Typhoon, Polymerization and Book of Moon, but the main staple to be talking about here is Skill Drain! This fantastic card, that you can now play at three, allows you to negate the effects of all face-up monsters while they're on the field! A beautiful ability for a beautiful card that saw it's first printing in Dark Revelation Volume 1!
Hidden Arsenal: Chapter 1 has some fantastic bits in it for all sorts of players, so if you're looking for some of the cards within it, pre-order it now using swift so you'll receive it on release (if you're UK-based!).
