We’re Excited to Reveal Our New Website

Welcome to our new website! It’s been a long time in the making and we’re extremely excited to finally be able to show it to you, our awesome customers (without whom, this would not have been possible!). Over time we have received a lot of feedback on our website – and being the place you spend time browsing and choosing what you’d like to buy before making your purchase, we felt it was important to listen and to that feedback and come up with a plan to go forward. Back in 2017, we achieved our goal of making our Tabletop Gaming Store in Folkestone an awesome customer experience by looking at every experience we’ve ever had in a gaming store and ensuring we ticked every box in terms of comfort, style, choice and atmosphere. Once that was complete, we knew we needed to do the same with the website.

So here we are, many many months after making the decision to completely change the site, having reached our goal, once again. It hasn’t been without its challenges, but when you look at the end result, it’s been so worth it. The blood, sweat & tears of our fantastic web developers, who have listened intently to every detail of our plan and executed it swiftly and with the same level of deftness as a Master Jedi competing in a lightsaber duel! Your Chaos Cards team, who have burned the midnight oil creating content, checking functionality and collaborating (mostly via Zoom due to lockdown!) to achieve an end result that has enabled us to give something back to our customers in a way that’s worth so much more than our monthly discount codes, special offers and great prices – we now have an online shopping experience that not only provides you with the same awesome value and choice that you’ve always had, but one that makes it extremely easy to make your purchase, both through our desktop and mobile versions of the site.

We’ve decluttered our pages to give you the information you need to make an informed choice with minimal disruptions. On our product pages, if you want to find out more about the product, price matching or delivery, you can use the handy ‘+’ buttons to find out more. On our category pages, you can choose to view the product list with or without pre-order items. You can also sort products by how recently they were listed, giving you the most up-to-date product list for your chosen category. Our page load times are faster, meaning you get the information you’re looking for more quickly and we have many more improvements planned too. We’re accepting more payment methods and we’ve refined the checkout process to make it easier for you to make your purchase.

Overall, we were looking to create a completely smooth shopping experience from beginning to end and we really feel we’ve achieved that, even adding in some fun touches to the site (did you know Pikachu is hiding somewhere on our home page?!), whilst still providing our fantastic customer service, dispatch times and value for money that we’ve been providing for over 10 years.
