Divine-Beasts return to the Yu-Gi-Oh! landscape with the brand new Egyptian God Deck’s for Slifer the Sky Dragon and Obelisk the Tormentor! Are you ready for the return or the Gods in these 40 card ready-to-play decks?!
Let’s take a look at some of the newest cards in these Egyptian God Decks, starting with Thunderforce Attack from the Slifer Deck! This Quick-Play Spell can’t be negated, but can only be played if you have Slifer on the field. Then, you get to destroy as many face-up monsters your opponent controls as possible! It doesn’t end there though, if you activate this during your Main Phase, you get to draw cards equal to the amount of bits you sent to your opponent’s GY with this effect, fuelling your Slifer! And if you don’t remember what Slifer the Sky Dragon does, it gains 1000 ATK and DEF for each card in your hand! It also has a secondary effect, letting you reduce the ATK, of almost any monster your opponent summons on their turn, by 2000. Then, if that reduces that monster to 0 ATK or less, it gets destroyed!
Moving over to Obelisk the Tormentor, not only does this Divine-Beast boast 4000 ATK and DEF, can’t be targeted by card effects, but also can destroy all of your opponent’s monsters with the measly cost of tributing a couple of your other monsters! Obelisk is probably the simplest and outright strongest of the Egyptian Gods and also comes with a new card in Fist of Fate! This Quick-Play Spell Card not only negates and destroys a monster your opponent controls, but can also take out all of your opponent’s Spell and Trap cards on the field if you have your Obelisk out!
But these decks wouldn’t function without some other fantastic cards, and both decks share a couple of bits! Soul Crossing is another Quick-Play Spell card making it’s debut here, allowing you to get your Divine-Beast monsters out quicker while also getting rid of some of your opponent’s field! Harpie’s Feather Duster is a classic Spell card that destroys all of your opponent’s Spells and Traps on the field! And now it’s only Limited, you can make full use of it! There are a load of other cards in these decks for all players to enjoy, so if you’re into Yu-Gi-Oh! and looking for some new God-like decks to play, definitely check out both Egyptian God Decks for Slifer the Sky Dragon and Obelisk the Tormentor, coming out 17th June 2021!
