Discover Premium Gold Rares in Maximum Gold: El Dorado!

Another year, another Gold Series set for Yu-Gi-Oh! This year we have Maximum Gold: El Dorado, a gorgeous GOLDEN set with 152 cards in total! Now, most of these are great reprints (in either gold-letter or Premium Gold rare), but there are a few new art printings and new cards in general we haven't seen in the TCG yet! Each box of these contains 4 packs with 7 cards inside each pack (5 gold-letter rare, 2 Premium Gold) so, let's take a look at what you can discover on the road to El Dorado!
Let's start with a big one, Accesscode Talker! A beautiful Link monster that only had one printing previous (in Eternity Code) that can gain some decent ATK but also destroy multiple cards the opponent controls by banishing Link's from your field or GY. That sounds all fine, the kicker is that Accesscode Talker's effects can't be responded to by your opponent's cards or effects! Ouch! There's also a reprint of the loved I:P Masquerana, that lets you Link summon a monster on your opponent's turn as a quick effect, that monster cannot be destroyed by your opponent's card effects either!
The new cards we get in this set are Numerounius and they mainly seek to get some ridiculously high ATK monsters onto the field, like Number iC1000: Numerounius Numerounia! It had some spectacular effects like gaining 100,000 ATK/DEF if special summoned by the previous Numerounius XYZ, forcing the opponent's monsters to attack it, detaching material to negate attacks and gain LP, and straight up winning the duel if it didn't battle (at the end of your opponent's turn)! We also see the first printing of Numeron Storm, a spell card that lets you destroy as many spell/trap cards your opponent controls and inflicting 1000 damage for fun!
A couple of other great reprints in this set include Pot of Extravagance, the super versatile spell card that lets you draw cards by banishing monsters from your Extra Deck. This is great in most decks, especially those that don't use much of the Extra Deck! The other is Invocation! Now, Invocation has been printed a decent amount of times now, but it's still really great to have here as the Invoked/Aleister the Invoker archetype is still going strong!
Just looking down the card list, there are a whole load of reprinted cards over the last few years and alternate art cards that make the Maximum Gold: El Dorado box an incredible awesome product for any Yu-Gi-Oh! fan, casual or competitive! If you're thinking about something to get for a Yu-Gi-Oh! player this Christmas, why not check out this one!
