Lego Christmas Tree and Nutcracker

Just in time for Christmas we have some festive Lego releases to get excited about. Get ready to be creative over the festive season. Are the 2024 Lego sets smashing or do they crack under the pressure? Read on to find out more!

Do you like Christmas and Lego? We thought, as we have already Stepped into Christmas with the 2024 selection of Lego Advent Calendars, why not have a look at some of the other festive sets Lego have to offer. The following sets would be right up your alley, or, as it is coming up to Christmas,  should we say Chimney?

Lego Nutcracker (40640)

The Nutcracker figure stands over 6 in. (16 cm) tall and can be put on display in any room.

The newly released Lego Nutcrackers, although small in size, feels perfect for any Christmas display which includes any of the recent Lego Christmas releases. Lets get this out of the way first, can they crack a nut? Simple answer is no. But if you had a really tiny peanut that may fit in the mouth... but who on earth would do that to a peanut?

This is a fairly simple build, but it has a small twist, there is an alternate head that is included in the instructions so you can have a choice of Nutcracker character. If you preferred to play with this festive Nutcracker rather then display, it also has some fun little features, for example the mouth opens and closes with use of the handle, and the arms can swing. Overall it is a great little festive Lego product which has longevity as it can be used year after year in any Christmas display you might have planned! This product contains 208 pieces and is suitable for ages 8+

Christmas Tree (40573)

With this set you have the option to build 1 larger tree of around 30 cm tall, or a medium and small tree that stand 23 and 16 cm respectively. We always love it when Lego gives us options in our builds! It is a great set and perfect for a solo build or to create alongside family for a Christmas activity. In fact, we would say that the set is great at helping young Lego masters grow in confidence when building their creations as it is quite a repetitive set. Saying that, it is a fun build and looks great in any of the combinations of sizes. The Christmas tree comes with a sturdy base which is decorated in red, white and green tiles. The festive fir is adorned with candles, hearts, baubles and gold stars.

This was bought alongside the Nutcrackers to make a merry display in an office. Sitting alongside the Nutcrackers on a small unit absolutely gives a warm Christmassy feeling, especially when paired with some twinkly lights. This product contains 784 pieces and it suitable for ages 12+
